IC Immobilien Gruppe assumes property management mandate for OVUM quarter in Cologne

IC Immobilien Gruppe was mandated with the commercial, technical and accounting property management for the urban quarter OVUM in Cologne-Braunsfeld as of 1 December 2022. The owner of the property is OVUM Neue Mitte Braunsfeld GmbH, a joint venture between Alfons & alfreda and FAY Projects, domiciled in Schönefeld.

OVUM is located in the Braunsfeld/Ehrenfeld district of Cologne, on Stolberger Strasse and the corner of Eupener Strasse. Following the scheduled completion of all four parts of the building at the beginning of 2023 the mixed-use concept will offer a total leasable area of approx. 27,000 square metres, of which more than 90 per cent is already leased. The usage mix comprises office, gastronomy, retail and hotel areas and has attracted a heterogeneous tenant base. The attraction of the location is enhanced by an oval plaza at the centre of the quarter, an urban meeting point. Furthermore, there is an underground car park with 270 parking spaces and a number of charging stations for electric vehicles. Several connections to the local public transport network are to be found within easy walking distance of the quarter, thus facilitating excellent links to Cologne city centre, the central railway station and Cologne-Bonn international airport.
